Photography by Nicki Dowey<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"recipe-card\"><\/p>\n<h3>Garlicky Shrimp with Tomatoes and White Wine<\/h3>\n<p class=\"servings\">Makes 6 servings<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>3<\/span> large bagels, cut in half horizontally<\/li>\n<li><span>2<\/span> tablespoons butter, softened <\/li>\n<li><span>12<\/span> slices of bacon<\/li>\n<li><span>2<\/span> teaspoons olive oil <\/li>\n<li><span>3<\/span> tomatoes, cut into thick slices\n<\/li>\n<li><span>&frac23;<\/span> cup homemade or purchased hollandaise sauce  <\/li>\n<li class=\"no-quantity\">3 oz. or &frac23; cup arugula <\/li>\n<li class=\"no-quantity\"> Fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Toast the halved bagels under the broiler until golden. Spread generously with the butter. Cover \nthe bagels with a piece of foil and keep them warm. Meanwhile, fry the bacon until crisp, then keep warm. <\/p>\n<p>Heat the oil in a small skillet until very hot. Add the tomatoes and fry for about 1 minute until lightly charred. Put the hollandaise sauce in a small pan and heat gently.<\/p>\n<p>To assemble, top the warm bagels with a few arugula leaves, the tomatoes and bacon. Spoon the warm hollandaise sauce over the bacon and season with pepper.
