Honey Butter flavor)<\/li>\n<li>2\/3 cup chive and onion cream cheese spread<\/li>\n<li>3\/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled<\/li>\n<li>\u00be tsp. pepper<\/li>\n<li>4 green onions, finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>8 deli slices Cheddar cheese, quartered<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Grease a 9&#8243; x 9&#8243; aluminum baking pan and set inside a second one. Separate each biscuit into two layers. Spread about 1 teaspoon cream cheese on each piece and top with 1 to 2 teaspoons bacon, 1\/2 teaspoon green onion, and 1\/4 slice cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Make four stacks of eight layers. Set one stack on its side along the side of pan, starting in one corner (side without filling should touch the edge of pan.) Set a second stack in pan at right angles to first stack. Set remaining two stacks around edges to fill pan.<\/p>\n<p>Set pan on risers in a large Dutch oven (we used three canning jar rings). Cover with lid and place on a ring of 12 hot coals with a few more coals on lid. Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until puffy, browned, and no longer doughy.<\/p>\n<p>Rotate pot and lid every 15 minutes and check doneness several times, replenishing or removing coals as needed for even baking.
