Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2023, the Johnny Cash Museum<\/a> is officially authorized by the Estate of Johnny Cash. It features the largest and most comprehensive collection of Johnny Cash artifacts and memorabilia in the world.<\/p>\n

Ranked the #1 Music Museum in the world by Forbes, Cond\u00e9 Nast, and National Geographic Traveler and voted the Best Music Museum in the 2023 USA Today\/10Best Readers\u2019 Choice Travel Awards, the museum is also one of only six Nashville attractions to garner the coveted AAA Gem Rating. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame<\/a> offers visitors a chance to learn about the generations, from rock\u2019s earliest artists to those newly emerging musicians of today. In addition to the thousands of items on display, the exhibits feature films, videos, interactive kiosks, reading material, and plenty of music.<\/p>\n

Unique opportunities include the Pink Floyd tour replica of The Wall, designed to mirror the Berlin performance on July 21, 1990; Legends of Rock, an exhibit featuring handwritten drafts of hit singles, performance outfits, and instruments from some of history\u2019s greatest concerts.<\/p>\n

Delta Blues Museum<\/a> honors the story of the blues. The museum is dedicated to creating a welcoming place where visitors find meaning, value, and perspective by exploring the history and heritage of the unique American musical art form, the Blues.<\/p>\n

Established in 1979 by the Carnegie Public Library Board of Trustees and re-organized as a stand-alone museum in 1999, the Delta Blues Museum is the state\u2019s oldest music museum.<\/p>\n

The Musical Instrument Museum<\/a> has a collection of more than 8,000 instruments from more than 200 world countries. The galleries reflect the rich diversity and history of many world cultures. MIM began with a vision to create a musical instrument museum that would be truly global.<\/p>\n

Realizing most musical museums featured historical, primarily Western classical instruments, MIM\u2019s founder Bob Ulrich (then CEO of Target Corporation) was inspired to develop a new kind of museum that would focus on the type of instruments played every day by people worldwide.<\/p>\n
