Every September, we shine a spotlight on the power of positive aging, inspiring adults 45 and older to take charge of their health, happiness, and future.<\/p>\n<h3>The 2025 Theme: \u201cNever Too Late to Reinvent Yourself\u201d<\/h3>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme, \u201cNever Too Late to Reinvent Yourself\u201d reminds us that no matter your age or stage, it\u2019s always possible to chart a new course\u2014whether it\u2019s through a career shift, new lifestyle habit, or personal growth goal. Unlike past years\u2019 focus on just sustaining vitality, 2025 is about transforming your future with purpose and excitement.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its 33rd year, September is Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Month was launched as part of the National Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Campaign, created by Carolyn Worthington, president of Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0multi-media and the non-profit Educational Television Network, Inc. The Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0platform includes the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/healthyaging.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">healthyaging.net<\/a>\u00a0website,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/healthyaging.net\/category\/healthy-aging-magazine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Magazine<\/a>, newsletter, social media and special events.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe created the month to inspire people to take stock of their health and life goals in a realistic and positive way,\u201d said Worthington. \u201cSeptember was a natural fit\u2014it\u2019s a time when people feel ready to start fresh, much like a grown-up version of back-to-school season. We also felt there needed to be a second time during the year in addition to May is Older Americans Month.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since its founding in 1992, Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Month has received numerous local and national proclamations recognizing its value. In 2021, U.S. Senator Tim Scott\u2019s office formally reached out to acknowledge the campaign\u2019s impact and introduced a unanimous Senate resolution recognizing September as Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0Month\u2014cementing its place on national health observance calendars.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSeeing people in their 70s, 80s, and 90s take on new careers, achieve athletic goals, or learn new skills is no longer rare\u2014it\u2019s inspiring and achievable,\u201d Worthington added.<\/p>\n<h3>10 Fresh Tips for Healthy Aging<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>\u00a0in 2025<\/h3>\n<p>Ready to redefine your next chapter? Add Play to Your Day<\/h3>\n<p>Find movement that\u2019s fun\u2014like pickleball, dance fitness, or cycling. Not sure where to start?
