When they begin to soften, add the garlic and ginger root. Mix thoroughly. After a couple of minutes, add the saffron and cinnamon sticks. Add the lamb and brown on all sides.<\/p>\n<p>Pour the bone broth in the pot until it barely covers the lamb. Turn the heat up and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for 1\u20132 hours or until the lamb becomes very tender.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chestnuts and honey and simmer for 30 more minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle the goji berries over the stew, turn off the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Serve immediately or let it rest overnight and serve the day after\u2014the flavors will merge, making the stew even more delicious.
