Average summer temperatures rarely stray above the high 80s with July being the hottest month.
Rainfall tends to vary moderately throughout the state, and July is the wettest month. You will enjoy sunny or partly cloudy skies for approximately three-quarters of the year.

Fortunately, severe weather is fairly rare throughout the state, but hurricanes typically pass near North Carolina about twice a year, causing stormy conditions and high tides.

If you decide to call North Carolina home, you can brag about its auspicious weather, which is moderate and much less extreme than many other states. Even during the few stormier, colder, and rainy days, there are an array of indoor activities available, meaning you will never feel bored due to the weather.

Activities and Attractions

Infinite activities, attractions, and events contribute to the high quality of North Carolina living. Dukes Gardens at Duke University, located in Durham. The 300,000 people from around the world that visit the gardens annually can attest to the extravagancy of this 55-acre site. Events and tours are almost always taking place, including Japanese tea gatherings and a range of adult programs to choose from. The best part?
