Divide into portions using 1\u20443 cup for grilling and reserving 2\u20443 cup to serve with the grilled chicken. Set aside.<\/p>\n<p>Score the drumsticks directly above the round end-bone with a knife, in order to cut all skin and tendons.<\/p>\n<p>Prop a drumstick against a table with the bone facing up, and use your fingers to push down the meat, revealing the bone.<\/p>\n<p>Then tuck the meat on the drumstick inside the hole to resemble a lollipop.<\/p>\n<p>Rub the meat with salt and canola oil.<\/p>\n<p>Place each drumstick, meat end down, onto a 4 \u00d7 4-inch sheet of foil.<\/p>\n<p>Wrap the meat end of each drumstick in foil, and shape it into a ball.<\/p>\n<p>Grill the foil-covered drumsticks over low heat for 20 minutes, turning them every 5 minutes or so.<\/p>\n<p>Serve the drumsticks alongside a ramekin with reserved Sweet Tare Glaze for dipping.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Sweet Tar Glaze<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"servings\" style=\"text-align: center;\">Makes 1 cup<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>1\u20442 cup white wine<\/li>\n<li>1\u20442 cup soy sauce<\/li>\n<li>1\u20442 cup brown sugar<\/li>\n<li>2 tablespoons thinly sliced ginger<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon white vinegar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In a small saucepan, mix together the wine, soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and white vinegar. Heat the mixture over medium low heat until it is reduced by one-quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the mixture from the heat.
