Photo: DANIELLE (DL) ACKEN<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"recipe-card\"><\/p>\n<h3>Salmon Burger with Sriracha Aioli<\/h3>\n<p class=\"servings\">Makes 4 servings<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1 lb. salmon fillets<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup finely chopped fresh cilantro<\/li>\n<li>1 green onion, finely chopped \u00bd inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons sea salt<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon freshly cracked<\/li>\n<li>Black pepper<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon lime zest<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon sambal oelek, Sriracha or other hot sauce<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc cup panko-style bread crumbs<\/li>\n<li>\u2153 cup mayonnaise<\/li>\n<li>6 tablesooons olive oil<\/li>\n<li>4 hearty kaiser-style buns<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd cup Sriracha Aioli<\/li>\n<li>Lettuce, tomato, pickle<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cut the salmon into chunks and pulse in a food processor until loosely chopped. Add the cilantro, green onion, ginger, sea salt, and pepper, then pulse twice, until just combined. Add the lime zest and juice, sambal oelek, panko, and mayonnaise and pulse again briefly.<\/p>\n<p>Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.<\/p>\n<p>Shape the salmon mixture into 4 \u00d7 4-inch patties approximately 1 inch thick. Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 4 minutes per side. Place on a plate lined with paper towels and keep warm in the oven until serving.<\/p>\n<p>Slice the buns in half and toast lightly. Spread 1 tablespoon Sriracha Aioli on each bun half, fill with burger, lettuce, tomato, and pickle.
