Win a Dream Vacation in Spain’s Andalucía Region

Seville Plaza de Espana

Plaza de España, Seville — an architectural icon reflecting the beauty, history, and cultural richness of Andalucía, Spain.

Healthy Aging®, an official media partner of the New York Travel & Adventure Show, is pleased to announce a special vacation 5-day, 4-night stay random drawing for two, offering the winner the opportunity to experience the beauty, culture, and timeless appeal of Spain with an unforgettable stay in the heart of Andalucía. This Andalusia Spain vacation highlights one of southern Europe’s most culturally rich regions.

Visitors to the New York Travel and Adventure Show are invited to stop by Booth #743 and have their badges scanned to be entered in the random drawing, January 24 and 25, 2026. The drawing is not available online.

Known for its rich history, warm hospitality, and captivating landscapes, Andalucía invites travelers to slow down and savor life—from historic city centers to protected natural parks where tradition and nature still set the rhythm. For centuries, this soulful region has inspired artists, writers, and travelers drawn to its sun-washed cities, Moorish architecture, and deeply human sense of place.

Why Visit Andalucía, Spain? Culture, Nature, and Cuisine

As one of Spain’s most celebrated regions, Andalucía offers an extraordinary concentration of culture, history, festivals, natural beauty, and food. Travelers encounter world-renowned monuments alongside living traditions—places where daily life unfolds amid centuries of art, architecture, and ritual.

Highlights include UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Granada’s Alhambra and Generalife gardens, Córdoba’s historic center and great Mosque-Cathedral, and Seville’s Cathedral, Alcázar, and Archive of the Indies. The calendar comes alive with iconic celebrations like Easter Week processions, the Carnival of Cádiz, the Rocío pilgrimage in Huelva, and Seville’s April Fair.

Nature is equally defining. Andalucía stretches from the beaches of the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz to vast olive groves and protected reserves, including Doñana National Park, a UNESCO-designated landscape of wetlands and wildlife. Even winter offers contrast, with skiing in the Sierra Nevada while the coast enjoys mild sunshine.

And then there is the cuisine—simple, seasonal, and unforgettable. From sherries of Jerez and Montilla-Moriles to pescaíto frito along the coast, prized olive oils, inland jamón, and cooling classics like gazpacho and salmorejo, Andalucía’s flavors reward those who linger.

A Historic Hotel with Romantic Andalusian Roots

Hotel Casa 1800 Seville occupies a 19th-century casa palacio just steps from the Cathedral and La Giralda. Designed around a traditional central courtyard once entered by horse-drawn carriages, the house reflects the architectural rhythm of old Seville.

During its period of greatest splendor, the building stood at the crossroads of the Romantic era, when legendary figures such as Don Juan Tenorio, Carmen la Cigarrera, and writers including Lord Byron and Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer shaped the city’s cultural imagination. Today, that layered history remains present in quiet courtyards, wrought-iron balconies, and sun-washed interiors—paired with modern comforts and attentive service.

Here, Seville reveals itself not as a destination to rush through, but as a city to be lived—slowly, beautifully, and with intention.

Doñana Countryside Retreat: Nature, Horses, and Slow Travel

The experience continues with two nights in the Andalusian countryside near Doñana Natural Park, one of Europe’s most important protected ecosystems.

This exclusive stay takes place at Kukutana, a private countryside retreat, in partnership with Equiberia Riding Holidays. Wide skies, marshlands, horses, and unhurried days define this tranquil setting between Seville and Huelva.

The countryside experience includes:

  • Two nights’ accommodation
  • Full board with meals and drinks
  • Private round-trip transfers from Seville
  • An equestrian experience adapted to the guest’s riding level (or horse-drawn carriage for non-riders)

Kukutana is a traditional Andalusian cortijo where time feels expansive rather than scheduled—inviting guests to pause, breathe, and reconnect with nature and place.

A Journey Shaped by a “Memory Maker”

The Doñana countryside experience is curated by María Elena Dendaluce, founder of Equiberia Riding Holidays and a lifelong horsewoman whose vision has helped travelers discover a quieter, more authentic side of Spain since 1996.

Affectionately known by her guests as the “Memory Maker,” María Elena has spent more than two decades creating immersive journeys rooted in horses, landscape, and human connection.

“My goal is to continue bringing together horse people from all over the world, to keep discovering the hidden Spain on horseback and to spark long-lasting relationships born of a shared passion and unique life experiences,” she says. “My goal is to create lifetime memories that you will treasure forever.”

That philosophy is woven throughout this stay—where days unfold naturally, connections form easily, and Andalucía reveals itself slowly and honestly.
